Thanksgiving 2025

Wicked good weekend

 So we had a lot of Great first this weekend!

We played Scrabble for the first time

We got an 11 foot Christmas tree

We dressed up to see wicked

The girls tried homemade pies for the first time

The girls played their first meals, family football game in our front yard

Stanley pooped. But ruby didn’t pee in the house 

The girls decorated more of the tree than dad did for the first time ever

The girls also raked the leaves in the backyard without being asked for the first time ever

It was a very small thanking. And we will miss Nancy very much. She will always be with us in our hearts. And Ed and Gogo live on in our girls. . 

 Everly had a 12th birthday.  It was an epic wings of fire party!   We made hybrid dragon names and played cahoot and watched a video of eve "through the years".  Acadia had her party as well!! Her theme was K Pop Demon Hunters!   Here they are playing telestrations!   

ISla 4.5

 Isla is 4.5 years old, and her birthday is coming up this spring!  We are so luck to have her spunk and energy.  Her favorite things are rainbows and unicorns.

Raincorn = means unicorn

Lellow = means yellow

She is a chatterbox and loves to play all kinds of imaginative games. 

She loves to sleep in our beds, and get in the car in her pajamas. 

She has an aversion to brushing her teeth.  

she loves dance, and her friend Evelyn.  She has an amazing imagination and loves grammy days on Thursdays and Fridays.  

Yesterday we walked around the shed, it was snowing, and we saw green algae on the shed.  She said that's the STuNK.  there's a STUNK who lives under the shed.  

Here the girls walked to FACE to pick up Isla who went to school one day over Feb Break.  Her favorite friends are Evelyn and Hayden.  She had a birthday party at a spa today.  

Acadia learns to talk!!!

so our little angel Acadia Stanton mills started to say dada our if the womb.  She says it for everything!   She can copy hand motions and sounds.... And this week she added some new words!
Hi - with a wave
Down - when we play take a ride to Boston
Drum - when we drum she repeats the word!
Dum!
Dum!  And hits the table !
We are in New Orleans again.  It's cadys first flight.

Spring at last!

Well.  Along with the seasonal running rivers and creeks came streams of buggers and eye goop.  We had our first antibiotic and it tastes like bubble gum and she takes ml a day and her eyes have cleared up. Evy started speaking again this week and has chosen dada to mean everything it seems. It's usually a "I'm hapoy" phrase!  

Evy also turned six months this week.   She will start solid good next week!  She is pumped.  Although I'm not looking forward to the cleanup.  

Secretly hoping

So I admit there are times when I secretly hope evy starts crying... So I can get up, go to the rescue, and comfort her in the middle of the night.  So the real question is, whom is comforting whom? ;)
